Deliveroo's decision to launch their second Business Intelligence Unit this month in Singapore has once again demonstrated the rising demand for top data, digital and analytical talent in Asia.
Finding experienced data & analytical talent with a commercial mindset has proven to be a challenge in Asia. Many companies in Singapore and Hong Kong look for talents from abroad, but with visa / quota restriction, as well as more competitive packages in Europe / US, finding the "brightest and the best" will take much more than a good name and job ads, but a specialised and extensive recruitment network.
In the past, we have succeeded in utilising our extensive network, as well as unique research strategy, to help our clients find data, analytical and tech talent they needed to grow their business in a short period of time.
The Asian market is still evolving, with more talent from around the world looking for something different in their career - international working experience, a warmer climate, family reasons etc. So you may just find that perfect addition to your team if you start to look in the right direction!
Let us know if we want to understand the talent market more in Asia!
Deliveroo GM, Singapore, Sid Shanker, said: “APAC is a vital market for Deliveroo. By increasing our expertise in the region we will be able to offer the best possible service to riders, restaurants and customers.” Demis Bhojoo added: “This new unit will be hiring the brightest and the best in the region, while also looking for new partnerships with local businesses. In time we will have a footprint in multiple markets and we are very excited about Deliveroo’s continued expansion.”
