After being a flight attendant for 10 years, I wasn't sure who would hire me as I didn't have any "relevant experience" for basically 99% of the job adverts. Eventually I had the chance to get into recruitment and found out I could apply so many skills I had learned in the air... on the ground.
All it takes is a little bit of "out of the box thinking" and someone to believe in you, especially when you can't believe in yourself! It's ok we have all been there ;)
Transferable skills are hugely looked over and we need more agencies, especially in Asia, to look beyond the cookie cut-out candidate and let the misfits have their chance.
Essentially, everyone who is open to working in the creative industry, but who might traditionally be labelled as misfits.
